The Backroad Rescue Project was founded by a team of dedicated first responders who witnessed firsthand the challenges facing rural fire and EMS departments. Recognizing critical gaps in resources, funding, and support, we launched this foundation to empower these departments to keep their communities safe. Beyond providing essential equipment, training, and resources, we are deeply committed to supporting injured heroes and championing first responder mental health, ensuring that those who protect us have the care they deserve.
